Emily is a Program Associate for the Philanthropy and Social Innovation (PSI) program. Before joining the Aspen Institute, Emily worked primarily in the women’s nonprofit space, including positions with the American Association of University Women (AAUW), the Women’s Information Network (WIN), and the National Organization for Women (NOW). In these roles, Emily developed and managed leadership and advocacy programs and events geared towards gender equity and broader social justice initiatives.
Emily is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. She was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and in her free time enjoys reading, cooking, and spoiling her rescue beagle Darcy.
