Ivan Nunez Rodriguez (Washington, DC) has over a decade of finance experience, which began at the investment banks such as Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley, as well as Spain’s International Trade Commission.

Ivan Nuñez Rodriguez (Washington, DC) is a Sr. Officer at CIFI, an emerging market debt investment vehicle, focused in providing infrastructure finance in Latin America and the Caribbean. At Cifi, Mr. Nuñez focuses on structuring and arranging complex senior and mezzanine debt financing to private and PPP projects and companies in LATAM and the Caribbean. For the past eight years Mr. Nunez has been working at the Infrastructure Divison of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where he provided financing for renewable energy projects from major global developers. Ivan has been responsible for the creation of innovative products, such as the Sustainable Biofuel Scorecard (iadb.org/scorecard) and the Energy Efficiency Guarantee Mechanism (eegm.or) which aim at fostering sustainable energy in Latin America. Ivan has also worked at Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley, as well as Spain’s International Trade Commission. Ivan holds a Masters in International Trade from the Center of Economic and Trade Studies in Madrid, and is a SAIS ‘07 MA with concentration in Economy of Emerging Markets. He is a 2015 Socrates Fellow of the Aspen Institute and recipient of the Beca (Postgraduate scholarship) Caja Madrid and Marie Kraus and Johns Hopkins fellowships. (Attended Socrates)
