Jamie Ding has been with the City of Jersey City Division of Community Development since 2017. Community Development administers federal grant monies awarded to Jersey City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Development. Ding contributes to data analysis and adoption of new technologies for the Division, and is also involved in the creation of the Division’s next five-year consolidated plan. Prior to his time with Community Development, Ding served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Jersey City Middle Skills Initiative. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.

Jamie Ding is a member of the Hudson County Workforce Leadership Academy, Class of 2019-2020, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.

The Workforce Leadership Academies are part of the Economic Opportunity Fellows Network, a network of leadership and fellowship programs run by the Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program.
