Mikaela Bozza is our Operations Coordinator. Prior to joining Aspen, Mikaela taught elementary school for KIPP DC and Uncommon Schools. She began her career as an AmeriCorps member in Rochester, NY, where she developed the city’s first girls’ youth lacrosse program and afterward designed and piloted a refugee-serving college prep program. Mikaela brings her experience as an educator and youth advocate to Aspen Education & Society. She earned her BS in Women’s Studies from Northwestern University, where she played on the varsity lacrosse team. She is now an avid soccer player in DC, fan of the outdoors, animal-lover, and film enthusiast.
