Olivia Jefferson served as the Communications Associate for the Economic Opportunities Program, where she wrote, edited, and assisted the team in a variety of strategic communication campaigns. Previously, Olivia worked as a communications associate for a civil rights and plaintiff-side employment law firm, where she implemented strategic outreach campaigns and promoted the firm’s cases in a digital space. Olivia graduated from George Washington University in 2016 with a B.A. in political communication and political science. During her time as a student, she worked in a number of non-profit and public sector-oriented positions, including as an editorial fellow for GovLoop, a research intern for the Death Penalty Information Center, and a research assistant at the National Archives. Olivia originally hails from South Carolina, and eagerly applied her communications skills to the work of the Economic Opportunities Program.
