Quishema Jones is the Director of Youth and Workforce Development/Data Equality for the Urban League of Greater Hartford, a community based nonprofit that works to reduce economic disparities in their community through programs, services, and educational opportunities and serviced more than 3,000 area residents annually. Prior to working at the Urban League, Quishema worked as the Special Assistant of Innovation and Sustainability for the City of Hartford’s Department of Families, Children, Youth and Recreation. Quishema was born and raised in the City of Hartford and has spent her entire career working with Hartford youth helping them discover their strengths and reach their goals. She spent 12 years of her career working with Youth Programs at Blue Hills Civic Association — a nonprofit organization in Hartford that works to empower residents and neighborhoods to become self-sufficient through advocacy, organizing, and service for the betterment of Hartford. Quishema holds a BA in Psychology, and a MA in Organizational Leadership.

Quishema Jones is a member of the Hartford Workforce Leaders Academy, Class of 2017-18, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
