Talhah Waheed is studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He uses his interests in digital electronics and microcontrollers to help solve challenges throughout his community. Talhah’s recent projects include developing devices that can detect vaping in campus bathrooms and devices that help treat a set of visual disorders affecting children. He hopes to gain a better understanding of the field of electrical engineering so he can use his knowledge to continue to solve problems in an intuitive and civil manner. Talhah Waheed is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 Chicago cohort.
