Tony Mastria serves as Digital Communications Associate for the Economic Opportunities Program. As a member of EOP’s communications team, Tony oversees the program’s digital identity, including its webpages, emails, and social media. He also designs many of EOP’s printed materials and guides much of the program’s internal technology.
A self-described policy wonk, Tony has had a wide range of communications experience in the social sector. Prior to joining the Institute, he developed and hosted a podcast about public policy in California, called the Politi-Cal Podcast. Before that, he served as Digital Media Associate at the Justice Policy Institute, a think tank committed to reducing the use of mass incarceration. He has also held departmental communications roles at each of his alma maters. Tony has a Master of Public Administration degree from the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy & Public Administration at the George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA.
