Amanda Eller is a Strategy Director at the Waverley Street Foundation, where she manages a portfolio of organizations working at the intersection of climate change and agriculture, using tools such as policy, finance, and power-building to build a better food system. She comes to Waverley from Emerson Collective, where she built a regenerative agriculture funding portfolio. Amanda started her career working in clean energy and agriculture in West Africa and South Asia, including as Director of Impact at SunFarmer, a solar energy company in Nepal. More recently, she worked with North American farmers at Farmers Business Network and in impact investing at Omidyar Network and Better Ventures. Amanda is a former Fulbright scholar and holds degrees in international affairs from George Washington University and an MBA from UC Berkeley. She lives in Oakland, California, where she enjoys cultivating her garden and spending time in nature with her husband and son.
