Aruna is a Senior Research Manager at Twitter, leading the Health, Misinformation, Privacy, and Identity research teams. Previously, Aruna led the Design Research team at Dropbox, and has worked as a researcher at Change.org and Google, where she worked on Google Apps and the Inbox by Gmail team. Prior to moving to Silicon Valley, Aruna worked in technology policy at the RAND Corporation. She holds a B.A. in engineering from Harvard University and Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. She lives in San Francisco and enjoys eating ice cream while walking around the city with her husband and son.
