Executive Director, Labor Market Intelligence Center, Dallas County Community College District, Dallas, Texas

Ben has been the Executive Director of the Labor Market Intelligence Center (LMIC) at the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) since the Center’s founding in 2015. Guiding DCCCD toward greater labor market alignment and improving economic mobility for the citizens of Dallas County, the LMIC informs strategic decisions across the 7-college district and is a data partner to multiple government agencies and non-profits throughout North Texas. Ben has worked in economic development for municipalities and chambers of commerce in North Texas since 2009. Ben is currently pursuing an MPA at UT-Arlington and is pursuing CEcD certification through the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute. Ben serves on the board of Impact Ventures, Big Design Conference and the community advisory board of SCCIP at City Square.

Ben Magill is a member of the Dallas Economic Opportunity Leadership Academy, Class of 2019-2020, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
