Kabria Bates is pursuing an associate degree in general studies at Coahoma Community College where she holds the title of Miss Sophomore. She plans to further her education at Delta State University this fall. Kabria hopes to obtain a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in counseling, and an education specialist degree in psychology from Delta State. It is her plan to be a behavioral therapist and an advocate for youth. Kabria Bates is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 Delta cohort.
