After spending the last five years as an entrepreneur, Keren Prescott has joined with Billings Forge Community Works as the new Opportunity Youth Café Manager located at The Kitchen Café (500 Main St Hartford, Ct). Keren is no stranger to the needs of disengaged youth, having worked with youth in and around the Philadelphia and DC areas as a behavioral health specialist, substitute teacher, and case manager. She will be utilizing one of her best skills which is creativity to mentor, teach, and train youth and young adults on life/soft skills as well as customer service skills.

Keren is the proud mother of three beautiful children, a graduate of La Salle University with a degree in Psychology, activist/advocate for survivors and others overcoming obstacles, and much more. She is excited to bring together her personal, professional, and educational experiences to make the Opportunity Youth Café a success.

Keren Prescott is a member of the Hartford Workforce Leaders Academy, Class of 2017-18, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
