Louise Iverson has spent her career working in the intersections of agriculture, food security, poverty and livelihoods, and climate change. Currently, she leads the Human Rights and Forest Positive ambitions for General Mills’ Global Impact Team, collaborating within and beyond the company’s supply chains to advance systemic change that can regenerate communities and ecosystems. Prior to joining General Mills in 2017, Louise spent ten years in the non-profit sector, most recently as Assistant Director of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs’ Global Food and Agriculture Program. She began her career with nearly two years of field experience with Common Hope, an NGO supporting children and families in Guatemala. Originally from Minnesota, Louise has a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
