Maryna Markowicz serves as the Senior Program Manager, Design and Delivery for the Aspen Leadership Seminars at the Aspen Institute. In this capacity, she acts as a strategic thought partner in the expansion of the Institute’s leadership portfolio, serving as a primary engine for the 30+ seminars the department delivers annually. She oversees a high-performing team responsible for all Aspen Leadership Seminars, spanning from the flagship Aspen Executive Seminar on Leadership, Values, and the Good Society (tuition-based) to custom leadership development programs for global organizations (fee-for-service). Maryna has worked closely with partners, including Microsoft, Meta, HP Inc., Amazon, the Chanel Culture Fund, and the CDC, to architect high-impact bespoke experiences that foster executive growth while advancing the Institute’s commitment to values-based leadership.
A self-described global nomad, Maryna spent the first 18 years of her life across Central and Eastern Europe, though she proudly calls Ukraine her home. In 2022, she had the honor of serving as the VIP Relations Manager for Ukraine House Davos in Switzerland, where UHD returned alongside the World Economic Forum (WEF) to help unify and inform the global response to Russia’s war on Ukraine.
Maryna earned her B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Business Administration & Management from Boston University. Before joining the Aspen Institute, she had the privilege of working in economic development, intergovernmental consultations, and advocacy.
