In 2014, Neil Dick joined Loyalist Training & Knowledge Centre (Loyalist College) as Program Coordinator and Lead Facilitator of ELEVATE, a sector targeted workforce development pilot funded through Essential Skills Ontario to improve hiring and retention outcomes of vulnerable unemployed/underemployed workers in the food manufacturing sector in the Quinte Region. He has an extensive industry senior management background and a consulting practice providing project management and training services to industry. ELEVATE’s success and alignment with the Highly Skilled Workforce Strategy and the U.S. Work Advance approach has led to being chosen as Manufacturing Sector pilot for Skills Advance Ontario.
Neil Dick is a member of the Toronto Sector Skills Academy, Class of 2016-17, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
