Qazi Hasan is a management professional, currently serving as Manager, Workforce Development at Wood Green Community Services. Qazi received his Master of Arts degree from University of Dhaka, and started his career in humanitarian work and the international development field in 1988. He received two major fellowships, one from the Advocacy Institute, based in Washington DC; and the other from the Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on International Development. Qazi started his career as a researcher in a major non-profit organization in Bangladesh in 1989, and then in 1998 moved on to work with the international aid agency, German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), under the German International Development Ministry. In March 2003, he joined a reputed international development organization Right to Play International (RTP), based in Toronto, and managed sports and development projects in Belize, Uganda, Sudan and Pakistan. Qazi left RTP in 2005, and joined WoodGreen Community Services in 2006.

Qazi Hasan is a member of the Toronto Sector Skills Academy, Class of 2018, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
