Howard is a Program Coordinator for the Henry Crown Fellowship. Previously, he served two-terms as an AmeriCorps VISTA with Miami Dade College. In those roles, he completed more than 4,000 hours of service where he helped low-income students secure services to stay in school, helped oversee the campus’ food pantry, and helped build and maintain community-campus partnerships. Quran’s passion for volunteering has led to the Galapagos Island to remove plastic waste, to the Amazon Rainforest to plant trees, and to New Orleans to rebuild homes affected by Hurricane Katrina. In his free time, he is an avid Sci-Fi book reader, ceramic bowl-maker, and 80’s pop music fan.
