Dr. Sharon Davis serves as the Vice President of Business Services at Mountain View College, of Dallas County Community College District. She has held several leadership positions, including Interim President. During her tenure she has managed operations and administrative functions, including: business operations, human resources, information technology, planning, research and institutional effectiveness, resource development, financial aid, marketing and public relations, facilities operations, police, professional development, workforce development, athletics, and sustainability. Dr. Davis holds a Ph.D. in Business, a MBA in Management, and a BS in Accounting. She has been instrumental in creating new workforce initiatives at her college and within her community. Dr. Davis serves on several community boards and has championed workforce and economic development within those organizations.

Sharon Davis is a member of the Dallas Economic Opportunity Leadership Academy, Class of 2019-2020, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.

The Workforce Leadership Academies are part of the Economic Opportunity Fellows Network, a network of leadership and fellowship programs run by the Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program.
