Sheila Marks was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer at Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders (ITL), in 2018. ITL is a Dallas based non-profit focused on scaling innovations in the areas of workforce readiness, employee development, and leadership training. Formerly, she served as ITL’s Chief Operations Officer where she managed organizational strategy, programming, fund development, and strategic alliances. ITL leverages and develops employment as a tool that leads to the growth of assets such as living wage income, employment and health benefits, higher credit scores, strong savings and home ownership for under-resourced individuals. Sheila began her corporate journey at AT&T where she held a variety of roles in Corporate Strategy, Sales, Human Resources, and Marketing. She accrued a wealth of knowledge and wisdom regarding the Workforce Development domain having managed large teams responsible for billion-dollar budgets. Sheila is certified by the Life Coach Institute of Orange County, as a Professional Life Coach and received her Master of Business Administration degree from Dallas Baptist University and Executive Certificates in Organizational Culture & Change Management from Texas A&M University.

Sheila Marks is a member of the Dallas Economic Opportunity Leadership Academy, Class of 2019-2020, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
