Skylar graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Social Welfare and a focus on public health and environmental policy. Before joining the Aspen Institute, Skylar served as a Staff Assistant to the former Comptroller of the Currency and his subsidiary companies. She also worked in Representative Mike Levin’s office where she focused on issues related to environmental conservation and energy innovation. Skylar was born in San Diego, California and now lives full-time in Washington DC.
