Harvest Forum

June 4-6, 2019 Newburg, Maryland

The inaugural Honor the Harvest Forum: The Next Century of Food Systems will gather leaders to explore how today’s agriculture and food systems co-create food, environmental, and economic security for everyone. We must think not just about this harvest, or this year, or even this decade, but how might food and agriculture be a restorative force for our communities and the planet in the 21st century and for multiple generations to come.

Bringing together value chain leaders, farmers and ranchers, academia, NGOs and regulators, using the Appreciative Inquiry model, this forum will create uncommon partnerships to lead a sustainable future. This closed-door, invitation-only convening will provide a unique and impartial venue for experts and stakeholders to engage in informed discussion, frame key issues and advance new insights for action to build a carbon cycling economy that creates value across the entire food system.

The Aspen Institute Energy and Environment Program, in partnership with the US Farmers and Ranchers Alliance, are pleased to host this event.
