Ta-Nehisi Coates, National Correspondent at The Atlantic, interviews Alex Kotlowitz at the 2014 Washington Ideas Forum. Kotlowitz is a journalist and author of “There Are No Children Here: The Story of Two Boys Growing Up in the Other America.” The two discussed storytelling, journalism and Kotlowitz’s 2011 documentary film The Interrupters.
