Reimagining Rituals: A Workshop on Celebrating Passover, Easter, and Ramadan While Socially Distant

April 2, 2020  • Religion & Society Program

This April, our Christian, Muslim, and Jewish neighbors celebrated important holidays: Easter, Ramadan, and Passover, respectively. Across the nation, faith leaders worked to design new ways to observe with their communities during the coronavirus pandemic. In this webinar, entitled Reimagining Rituals: A Workshop on Celebrating Passover, Easter, and Ramadan While Socially Distant, we discussed how to care for communities online, how to lead communities online, and how to reimagine rituals.

There is so much we can learn from each other, and our hope is that this webinar provides a space where we can do just that.

Speakers included Zeenat Rahman, Inclusive America Project; Rabbi Sara Luria, Beloved Brooklyn; Rev. Jennifer Bailey, Faith Matters Network; and Imam Omar Suleiman, Yaqeen Institute.
