This SOF Digital Discussion features Eric Foner, DeWitt Clinton Professor Emeritus of History at Columbia University; and Meg Jacobs, senior research scholar at Princeton University. Guided by Jelani Cobb, staff writer for The New Yorker, Foner and Jacobs conduct a wide-ranging exploration of notably contentious elections and other significant moments of political conflict in US history to provide context for the current national discord ahead of the November 3rd election.
