Ending Poverty in the United States

More than 46 million Americans are living in poverty, according to the 2010 US Census Bureau. How is domestic policy addressing this and what should be done to reduce that number? Poverty policy experts Peter Edelman, author of So Rich, So Poor, and Stuart Butler, director of the Center for Policy Innovation at the Heritage Foundation, answer this question at a recent event organized by the Institute’s Initiative on Financial Security for the Aspen Asks Series.
