Happiness, Carl Sandburg
Meditation
What is happiness? Carl Sandburg asks the question with answers sought by the likes of Aristotle, Epicurus, John Stuart Mill, Loazi, and countless others over the course of time. In philosophical debate, we can discuss the nuances of happiness–of purpose, of relationships, of values, and of the enrichment of human life. We can seek guidance from leaders and influencers, trying to understand the complexities of such a thing.
But perhaps the answer to understanding what happiness is, is simply to be. To be present in the moment and feel it. What makes you happy today?
