The Aspen Challenge: Chicago | Competition

Eight weeks ago, The Kitchen Community chief of staff Joan Haug, scientist, 2015 Ted Fellow, and White House Champion of Change in STEM Diversity and Access Danielle Lee, Chicago Police Department Special Advisor for Community Affairs Robin Robinson, Cease Fire Illinois Program Manager Chico Tillmon, and A.M Money Co-founder and CEO Daniel Rogers issued challenges to 160 Chicago public and charter high school students. On Thursday, April 6, Aspen Challenge teams representing 20 Chicago public and charter high schools will present their solutions to a panel of eight judges for a chance to present at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen, CO this summer.
