Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship: Newark Session II
The second session of AYLF Newark will convene Fellows on the campus of Rutgers University-Newark the weekend of June 9. Fellows will unpack materials to explore a number of themes that are directly relevant to the development of the leadership skills necessary to effectively engage their communities.
Session Themes:
- Challenge of Leadership: justice, courage, vulnerability, and integrity
- Know Yourself: core values, purpose, responsibility and conviction, living a good life based on virtue
- Community and Society: social good, community values, and social change
- Power, Privilege, and Class: freedom, democracy, suppression, and oppression
