The sixth in a weekly series reimagining society post COVID-19. Our first five meetings have moved from the social to the personal, from reimagining the social contract to reimagining ourselves. As we reflect on new ways of living, we confront the experience of scarcity and the habits of consumption. How has confinement changed our buying habits? How do we reflect upon the phenomenon of hoarding? Have we managed to do more with less, or crave more with less? Will our consumer culture snap back to the status quo ante, or do we imagine significant changes to our patterns of consumption? What is your own patterns of consumption would you like to change?
