What We Do

Throughout the year the Aspen Institute Arts Program curates a series of live Conversations and Performances in New York and Washington, DC, as well as at the Aspen Ideas Festival, and one-off events in select American cities.

Our Creative Young Leaders Alliance provides mentorship and training to the next generation of young arts leaders using the time-tested Aspen Leadership Seminar as its basis. Other Initiatives focus on race, education, cultural diplomacy, and opportunity within the context of American arts.

The Aspen Arts Strategy Group convenes each year in a different American city with the goal of exploring a vital sociopolitical issue that the arts can positively impact on a local or national level.
