COVID-19 Resource Center

Resources for Education Leaders

During the Spring and Summer of 2020 our nation and our schools have faced innumerable and unprecedented challenges; over 100,000 lives lost to COVID-19, over 40 million people unemployed, and a renewed reckoning with police brutality and racism in America. State and local leaders are faced with momentous decisions about education and school re-openings that beg for coherent policy solutions, which require trust, communication, and participation by many from outside the K12 system.

We engaged a diverse cross-section of experts, stakeholders and practitioners to offer suggestions and examples for concrete actions state and local leaders can take to make sure schools have access to mon¬ey, people, and collaborative structures that ultimately benefit students, families, and society.
