The Key to Scaling: Collaboration and Adaptability

July 27, 2021  • Aspen Global Leadership Network

Founded in Australia, High Resolves has spread across contexts and continents to deliver high-quality experiences empowering youth around the world.

Mehrdad Baghai co-founded High Resolves as his Henry Crown Fellowship venture project to combat the rise of hate and polarization globally. Now, 15 years later, the program’s effectiveness proven, he has turned to fellow leaders across the Aspen Global Leadership Network to scale to new geographies and contexts. But it’s not a one-size-fits-all approach.

The High Resolves learning model – which empowers young people by awakening their sense of “human responsibility” – has adapted to fit the needs of wherever and for whoever it is being implemented. Effective, flexible delivery doesn’t happen without partnership. Watch to learn how Mehrdad collaborated with Jean-Claude Brizard of Digital Promise (Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow), Filmmaker Diane Robinson, and others to bring the program to a global scale. The proliferation of High Resolves is an inspiring example of how one Fellow tapped the network to scale a highly effective solution.
