In the Summer of 2023, the Aspen Institute Business & Society Program drew together 175 leaders for the Aspen ESG Summit, an invitation-only immersive gathering at the frontier of ESG. The program was designed as a dialogue among business leaders along with long-term investors, corporate governance experts and those who advise, prod, and regulate business.
As “ESG” has come under attack, it is equally apparent that pressure on business to do more and better in the realm of people, the planet and corporate governance is only expanding – rapidly. Through idea exchange and working sessions, the Summit engaged thoughtful influencers to examine these emergent issues, evolve the narrative and practice surrounding ESG, and build greater trust in the business sector to align with the long-term health of society.
