“The Cultural Impact of the Book of Revelation.” Dr. Elaine Pagels, Professor of Religion at Princeton University and best-selling author will give Fellows a brief sketch of her next book (a work-in-progress). Pagels is researching “Who wrote The Book of Revelation – and why?” Using text, art and music, she will illustrate how religious leaders, prophets and politicians have used The Book of Revelation for the past two thousand years, up to and including references during the current war in Iraq.
