Aspen is a place for leaders to lift their sights above the possessions which possess them. To confront their own nature as human beings, to regain control over their own humanity by becoming more self-aware, more self-correcting, and hence more self-fulfilling.
About the Course: The five day Investment Manager Training course covers the entire investment process – from deal sourcing and due diligence to term sheets, ongoing business support, and exit strategies. Course material will be largely based on ANDE member experiences and case studies. The course agenda is being finalized, but you may view the agenda from the Investment Manager Training course we offered in Mexico in August 2011 to give you an idea of what the course will include. Please also note that while the course covers aspects of debt, it is primarily focused on equity investing.
Who Should Attend: The training is primarily targeted to staff members of ANDE member organizations who are directly responsible for investment and portfolio management or capacity development providers who work closely with investment managers and/or with entrepreneurs seeking investment. Participants should be mid level and have a good understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts.
