This symposium, customized exclusively for Vanguard Chapter members of the Society of Fellows, examines questions that deepen our understanding of what it means to lead a good life. It will address the core questions which have motivated the Aspen Institute’s work for over 60 years. What makes a good life? How do I find satisfaction and meaning? How do I align my life with my values? What are my responsibilities to my family, to my employer, to my community? Through selected readings and text-based dialogue, participants will grapple with these fundamental facets of life, with special attention to the needs and concerns of a peer demographic. This provocative symposium will deepen your understanding, challenge your thinking, and offer personal renewal as you confront the difficult choices of our ever-changing world.

Moderated by Todd Breyfogle, Director of Seminars for the Aspen Institute.
