The 2013 Resolve Award Celebration: Delivering on the Promise of Universal Access to Reproductive Health

present the third annual Geneva Policy Dialogue Series on Reproductive Health, celebrating the 2013 Resolve Award Country Winners.
The Gambia, Kenya and Zambia have been awarded the prestigious Resolve Award, which was announced by the Global Leaders Council for Reproductive Health at the inaugural Geneva Policy Dialogue Series on Reproductive Health in May 2011 and given for the first time in May 2012. The 2013 Special Mention has been given to Sierra Leone.
Pictured left to right, Joy Phumaphi, Chair of the Global Leaders Council for Reproductive Health presented the awards to: Honorable Bala Garba Jahumpa, Minister of Health & Social Welfare who accepted on behalf of The Gambia; Honorable Beth Mugo, Nominated Senator for Nairobi and former Minister of Public Health & Sanitation accepted on behalf of Kenya’s Resolve Award for policy development; and, Honorable Dr. Joseph Kasonde, Minister of Health of Zambia, accepted the Resolve Award for service delivery on behalf of the Gambia. The Resolve Award Special Mention was presented to Sierra Leone and was accepted by Honorable Miatta Barlay Kargbo, Minister of Health and Sanitation of Sierra Leone.
