This symposium, offered to Society of Fellows supporters, will address Churchill’s legacy, including governance in wartime, the alliance between Britain and the United States; and his compelling presence in world history. Featuring preparatory readings, lecture, Q&A, and moderated discussion, the symposium will invite you to draw your own conclusions about this most iconic of British leaders. Moderated by Lee Pollock, Executive Director, The Churchill Centre; and by James Muller, Political Science Professor, University of Alaska Anchorage. Special guest experts Steven Hayward, author of Churchill on Leadership; and John Maurer, Chair, Stategy and Policy Department, U.S. Naval War College.
