Hosts

On March 8, 2016, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and the Aspen Institute co-hosted a leadership roundtable, which convened thought leaders from the nonprofit, philanthropic, and civic communities to explore key issues, challenges and solutions relevant to strengthening nonprofit capacity at the local level. The roundtable discussion helped illuminate the major issues facing the nonprofit capacity building field and inspire big picture, solution-oriented thinking.

The dynamic conversation featured a diverse and talented group of leaders, who work across the nation to address social and economic challenges facing our communities. Participants represented 29 direct service, capacity building providers, foundations, and advocacy organizations. Together, they discussed the potential role of the business community in strengthening the nonprofit sector, as well as bridging gaps between and among the nonprofit, business, and public sectors. The findings from this roundtable discussion are summarized in the recently released action brief, “Stronger Nonprofits, Stronger Communities” and will serve as a basis for a larger forum planned for November 2016.

Please read more about the roundtable agenda and participant list.
