The Winter Meet-up for Leaders Forum members coincided with “Making Purpose Work,” a two-day Business & Society Program convening focused on operationalizing purpose within companies.

The Leaders Forum took some time out of the “Making Purpose Work” meeting to go on a site visit to Cargill Salt and the neighboring wildlife refuge. There, the group used a 2003 public-private partnership involving Cargill, state and federal wildlife agencies, private foundations, and environmental leaders as a case study to explore how partnerships are successfully executed, the leadership that is necessary along the way, and the questions/challenges that still remain today.
