Aspen is a place for leaders to lift their sights above the possessions which possess them. To confront their own nature as human beings, to regain control over their own humanity by becoming more self-aware, more self-correcting, and hence more self-fulfilling.
Emerging technologies and new business models are increasingly disrupting the ways in which content is produced, distributed and consumed. Changes in the technological and regulatory environment have helped to produce convergence among media technologies and consolidation of media companies. The 2017 Aspen Institute Conference on Communications Policy will explore policies to govern the new media landscape. Participants will evaluate how communications policies address the new challenges and opportunities for technology and suggest principles and policies that should be created.
By invitation only.
