The Aspen Institute Communications & Society Program, in association with the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies, is convening the Aspen Institute Dialogue on Diplomacy and Technology, August 2-4, 2017 in Aspen, Colorado on the topic, “Diplomacy in the Age of Networks.” Networks have become a dominant form of organization in the world of 2017. As these developments emerge, diplomacy needs to acknowledge the significance of the network form, and explore the use of network principles in the service of diplomatic interests.
