The Aspen Institute Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation (PSI) seeks to inform and maximize the social impact of grant-making foundations, nonprofit organizations and other groups through leadership development initiatives, convenings, and communications so that each can contribute to the good society at home and abroad.

PSI hosts the Aspen Philanthropy Group, an invitation-only gathering of leaders in philanthropy and civil society who are at the cutting edge of social change. This group meets annually to identify and develop consensus around the key methodological or substantive issues in the field, such as how foundations can better share knowledge and use data to evaluate impact.
