This two-day Forum will inaugurate the new Aspen Institute International Digital Economy Accords (IDEA) Project, a project recently launched by the Communications and Society Program. 

The Aspen Institute IDEA Project aims to reassess the existing institutions and norms that govern the global Internet, broadly defined.  The Project will establish a consultative process involving key government officials, business executives, non-profit sector experts and other thought leaders to analyze the problems facing Internet unity, governance and structure.  It will seek alignment on values leading to a series of accords, standards and forums to achieve these results.
