This dinner was a benefit for the Socrates Program and was a special celebration of its 20th anniversary. During the course of the evening, Ann and Thomas Friedman were honored for their longtime support of the program. The event featured a lively discussion between New York Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Thomas Friedman and Walter Isaacson, President and CEO of the Aspen Institute.

The dinner is co-chaired by Arjun Gupta, Peter Hirshberg, and Laura and Gary Lauder, and will be held in the Doerr-Hosier Center at the Aspen Meadows Resort from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
