Socrates Program Benefit Dinner was held June 28, 2009, featuring a conversation with Thomas L. Friedman, New York Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, and Walter Isaacson, President and CEO of the Aspen Institute. They discussed “Hot, Flat and Crowded–and Busted?” Institute Trustee William (Bill) Budinger was honored at the dinner, which was attended by 300.
