The Aspen Institute Financial Security Program and partners are calling for the establishment of a Presidential Commission to create a national, interagency financial inclusion strategy.

Through the Task Force, these leaders will tackle timely issues such as the implications of digital transformation for Latino entrepreneurs, the digital upskilling and reskilling needs of Latino workers, and the digital innovation being led by Latino youth and adults.  

The Aspen Institute’s Tech Policy Hub, the Institute’s Energy and Environment Program, and Green 2.0 are co-authors of the new report, which seeks to provide actionable insights for climate organizations and individuals.

M&T Bank and Weave: The Social Fabric Project, a program of The Aspen Institute, will honor the work of 20 Baltimore individuals and groups who are building community through the Weaver Awards, offering easy-to-access micro-grants of $5,000.

Eighteen teams from Orleans Parish presented bold solutions to combat critical issues within their communities to a panel of judges comprised of local New Orleans leaders. In the Aspen Challenge’s first year in New Orleans, teams demonstrated many of the skills and attributes necessary to create impactful, sustainable change and addressed real issues in their communities.
