Felipe Estrada (Bogota, Colombia) is the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship (CE) of the Universidad de los Andes School of Management (UASM). As director, he has overseen the support of over 80 ventures set in motion by members of the Universidad de los Andes (Uniandes) community. He has also implemented various activities aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial culture and mindset at Universidad de los Andes, including the Uniandes Entrepreneurship Day, which celebrates the achievements of the University’s entrepreneurs. Felipe has also created and developed several workshops on the generation of value through business models for SMEs and he currently teaches undergraduate courses in venture creation and entrepreneurship. Before joining Universidad de los Andes, Felipe built a successful translation business focused on academic document translation services for students interested in studying abroad. Before that he led, during 5 years, the development of market intelligence analysis models for the global telecommunications industry for the Yankee Group. He has a Bachelor of Management, cum laude, and an MBA. Participated in ANDE Investment Manager Training January 2017.
