Senior Program Associate for Aspen Ideas: Health

Kathleen Shea is Senior Program Associate for Aspen Ideas: Health, managing sponsorships for the Aspen Institute’s annual flagship gathering on health and medicine. Drawing on more than seven years of experience spanning the nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors, she enjoys collaborating on meaningful experiences that connect people and ideas.

Since 2020, Kathleen has held multiple roles at the organization supporting public programs, including the Aspen Security Forum. Prior to joining the Institute, she curated diplomatic convenings at Meridian International Center. She graduated cum laude from NYU with a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Chinese language. Originally from Texas, she now resides in Chicago.
